Dear Family and Friends,

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 2:7).

Do you know anyone who has left Christianity for another religion or philosophy? Have Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses ever visited you at your door? Have you ever been approached at the airport by a Hare Krishna? Walter Martin, the original Bible Answer Man and author of The Kingdom of the Cults, used to say that 3/4 of the people who convert into the cults come from mainline Christian denominations. Most of the people I have met who converted into Mormonism have come from the Baptist denomination. These converts were for the most part simply ill informed, and not getting good answers from our Christian churches. It is funny, as well as tragic, how many people become interested in reaching out to the cults when some friend or family member joins one.

For the last 24 years I have been working with various ministries to reach those trapped in false religions and philosophies. As a result, many people have become more understanding of their faith, and many have realized their need for the true God. Today we can all thank the Lord for providing a new 501(c) 3 non-profit ministry called "Courageous Christians United."

Courageous Christians United will open up a whole new world of opportunities to reach even more people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have always loved reaching out to the LDS community and will continue to do so as my primary emphasis, but now I am planning on reaching out to more false religions and philosophies. The potential here is enormous! MormonInfo.org averages around 100 visits a day from individuals in countries all over the globe. The web master, Allen Dardenelle, has recently bought the URL JWInfo.org, so we will begin building a web site for Jehovah's Witnesses. A few months ago, I helped a friend with an outreach for Muslims using his web site MuhammadLied.com on poster boards in a heavily populated Muslim area of southern California. Courageous Christians United will recruit Christian missionaries for various outreach events to different groups. Courageous Christians United will respond to atheism, Hinduism, Buddhism, the new age movement, Judaism, Free Masonry, the occult, theological liberalism, the Unification Church, Oneness Pentecostalism, and many others. The ministry focus will be on confrontational evangelism (e.g., door to door, literature distribution, advertising web sites on signs, street dialoguing and preaching, etc.), but it will also utilize various methods of evangelism and training (e.g., prayer meetings, organizing fasts, neighborhood barbecues, support groups, etc.) so that the Body of Christ may truly stand together and encourage each other's gifts and talents in reaching out to those trapped in false religions and philosophies.

The board of directors for this new ministry will be as follows:

I thank the Lord for this solid group of men, who are very committed to Christ and the furtherance of His kingdom. These men will come along side me and hold me accountable, challenging me to new heights.

I am asking you to join this ministry team as well. Courageous Christians United needs your support. Among other things, we need prayers, encouragement, advice, and financial donations. Your financial donations will bring the truth to many more people than would have received it otherwise. Donations will cover such things as living and travel expenses, printing and distributing literature, and possible legal aid.

If you would like a financial part in supporting this ministry, there are basically four means:

1. Become a monthly financial partner. Our primary need is for people who will come alongside this ministry and support our work financially on a consistent basis. You can make your tax deductible check out to "Courageous Christians United" and mail it to:

359 Molokai Dr.
Placentia, CA 92870
.

2. You may also make a secure tax deductible donation online via PayPal on our "Support" page at MormonInfo.org. This may be automatically withdrawn each month from your bank account or credit card. If you require help with this, please contact Matt Vessey at Matt@MormonInfo.org or at the Courageous Christians United mailing address.

3. Help get Courageous Christians United on its feet with a significant one time financial gift.

4. You may purchase ministry shirts to advertise various web sites on Mormonism, which may also be found on our "Support" page at MormonInfo.org. All proceeds will go to support this ministry, but there will be no tax deduction given for this means of support.

Thank you so much for your concern for this ministry, and for those trapped by false religions and philosophies.
