If you would like for us to consider adding your testimony of how God brought you out of Mormonism and to the real Christ, please "Contact" us.
If you are LDS and would like to remove your name from the LDS Church, see Utah Lighthouse Ministry or Mormon No More. It really is much easier than you think! You need not go through excommunication, attend a court, or be visited by anyone. It simply requires you to mail in a form letter with your information to your local bishop as well as the headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT.
If you would like to give your life to Christ and experience new life the way these others have, then simply trust Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Trust in Him by turning (repenting) from all your sins that separate you from His fellowship and peace, and by welcoming Him into your life to make you the kind of person He has always intended you to be. Give Him full control of every detail of your life. In exchange, He will amazingly count you as righteous or worthy right now if you call out to Him. He can do this, since as God, He has completely taken your debt or penalty on the cross. He loves you that much! He does not want to ruin your life; He wants to save you right now from hell and fulfill you in unimaginable ways. As the All Perfect Being, He wants to direct your life through all the good and bad. He is the only one that can be trusted with your life anyway. Why trust anyone other than Him? Everyone else, including yourself, will let you down. God by definition will never let you down... unless of course you persist against His will. But even then, God is not technically letting you down (He remains faithful); you are letting yourself down to hell.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
God's word says, "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). It also says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom. 5:1). "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (1 John 5:12). "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). And since He will save you now "according to His mercy" (Titus 3:5), you can be "confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).
There is a well known story told of Napoleon the First's time. In one of the conscriptions, during one of his many wars, a man was balloted as a conscript who did not want to go, but he had a friend who offered to go in his place. His friend joined the regiment in his name, and was sent off to the war. By and by a battle came on, in which he was killed, and they buried him on the battle field. Some time after the Emperor wanted more men, and by some mistake the first man was balloted a second time. They went to take him, but he remonstrated. 'You cannot take me.' 'Why not?' 'I am dead,' was the reply. 'You are not dead; you are alive and well.' 'But I am dead,' he said. 'Why, man, you must be mad! Where did you die?' 'At, such a battle, and you left me buried on such a battle field.' 'You talk like a madman,' they cried; but the man stuck to his point that he had been dead and buried some months. 'Look up your books,' he said, 'and see if it is not so.' They looked, and found that he was right. They found the man's name entered as drafted, sent to the war, and marked off as killed. 'Look here,' they said, 'you didn't die. You must have got some one to go for you. It must have been your substitute.' 'I know that,' he said; 'he died in my stead. You cannot touch me. I died in that man, and now I go free. The law has no claim against me.' They would not recognize the doctrine of substitution, and the case was carried to the emperor, who said that the man was right, that he was dead and buried in the eyes of the law, and that France had no claim against him.
The story may be true, or may not, but one thing I know to be true, that the Emperor of heaven recognizes the doctrine of substitution. Christ died for me; that is my hope of eternal life. 'There is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus' (D. L. Moody, Select Sermons [Chicago: The Bible Institute Colportage Association, n. d.], 38-9).
If you would like to commit your life to Christ and receive eternal life right now, the following is a suggested prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, please come into my life. Thank you for dying for all my sins and canceling my debt. I turn from all my sins (e.g., Mormonism) and I turn to you for a new life. I am sorry for living to exalt myself or anything else instead of you and your will for me. Please forgive me, and I will trust you alone to make me the kind of person you want me to be. I surrender my life into your keeping, so teach me to be a good disciple of you. Thank you for now saving me and making me your child. In your name I pray, amen.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

|"I stumbled on this site by Google-ing Hill Cumorrah.
I've heard of this ministry... and just thought of it as being another unenlightened Utah sect.
Now that I have read many things on here... you have removed all doubt of me just thinking you were unenlightened.
Seriously, I'm not being contentious... It's just my light hearted nature when I call out a spade for being a spade.
I'm NOT going to answer all your questions or comment on all your doubts...(I could but lack the time or inclination to do so; you wouldn't believe me anyways) but I will comment on the location of the Hill Cummorah.
The Hill Cummorah simply means.... THE HIGHEST HILL IN THE AREA in reformed Egyptian and Hebrew.
You've heard of the Golan Heights; the highest hills in Israel? Well in Hebrew its called Golan de Ramah. Cu-morrah ...Ramah... Linguistics isn't about the same spelling its about sounding the same or phonetically the same.
So....Armed with that new knowledge... A hill cummorah is the highest hill in the area.
Mount Everest would be the 'hill cummorrah' in the Himalayas.
In the alps..Mount Blanc would be the 'hill cummorrah'.
Ok...Those are mountainous regions but are just examples to illustrate and identify 'hill cumorrahs' of that region.
I live in the Texas Hill Country. The tallest hill in our area I would say is an unnamed hill near Garner State park. That would be the 'hill cummorah' of my area. Get it? Gooood.
Now in the Book of Mormon, Mormon gives Moroni an ABRIDGED copy of the gold plates. Moroni then leaves with the ABRIDGED edition. Mormon then buries the UNABRIDGED edition in HIS Hill Cummorrah. Obviously NOT the New York Hill Cummorrah...because 340,000 Nephites are slaughtered at MORMONS HILL CUMMORRAH and the stench of the dead would've driven Moroni away anyways.
So Moroni travels onward...eventually to New York and before he leaves this earth (Idumea) he buries the ABRIDGED COPY in HIS (New York) Hill Cumorrah.
Now...I'm no bishop, nor am I a church historian or in any leadership position. Nor was I raised in the LDS Church. I'm just an old man who sits in the back row whom knows by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the ministering of personal angels (under direction of our Lord Jesus Christ) that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints IS INDEED true. And MY FRIEND Joseph Smith is indeed a prophet of God. If it were not true...I would not say so.
Never-the-less that being said/written and despite our profound differences of faith, I am quickened by the Holy Spirit to extend to you my hand in friendship, and say unto you "Let us rejoice in the Christ Jesus" " (2/21/15)

|"I am one of those sinful members of the LDS church. I have been for over 45 years. I admit to all of the heavens and earth that I am full of sin and in need of my redeemer. I welcomed him into my life and heart when I was about 11 years old, not LDS at the time. I learned to pray to God as a tiny child at my mother's knee. As the Savior taught, I pray to the Father, ie; "Our Father who art in Heaven". I believe in Father because he has answered my prayers in ways that leave no doubt nor room for doubt. He, (the Father) has burned into my heart through the witness of his holy spirit that Jesus is indeed the anointed one, the stem of Jesse, The Holy one of Israel. He is the only name by which I or anyone can be cleansed from sin and filth and have the opportunity to return to Father's presence. I seek no exaltation, I expect no reward, however I look forward to the time where I can bathe Jesus' feet with my tears of gratitude, as one of his children and one of those given to him by the Father. I believe in Christ, He is my King. I love him, I honor and praise him. He will come to reign on this earth in his rightful place. I look forward to that day!
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! All other doctrines, teachings, laws and prophesies hang on the two highest commandments: Love God with all our hearts, our souls, and minds; and love our neighbor as ourselves. NEED THERE BE MORE? I think not. No matter how much I can do, I will always fall short. His love, Atonement, death and resurrection make up the difference. I have learned to love my redeemer with my brothers and sisters of the LDS faith. I enjoy worshiping with them. I can eat the meat of the Chicken and throw out the bones. I know the difference." |"I stumbled upon this site looking for answers about mormons. I had a couple missionaries stop by and give me a book of mormon. I was raised baptist so I didn't know. But after reading the comments on your site, you have convinced me. I think I will try going to their church. Cause your commentary is so full of hate, that I cannot believe your a *real* follower of Jesus Christ." (5/8/17)|

|""YouConvincedme", you do realize you are violating one of the Ten Commandments, right? To present yourself as being a "baptist" when in reality your a mormon is the quintessential definition of bearing false witness (9th). My point being, as Galatians so eloquently demonstrates to us, the Law condemns you, no matter how hard you try. Please accept the gift of eternal life by accepting God's graceful gift. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Cor 5:21 Jesus paid for all sin for those who trust in his vicarious work. I pray you will fully trust in him someday, and put to death your attempt to use your man made religious works as way to appease your Holy Creator." (7/14/17)|

|"Umm..I have no idea what you are talking about. I said I was raised Baptist and recently had Mormon missionaries come to my home with a book of Mormon. That is not false anything. My comment was that the comments on this site simply don't address doctrine just talk about why everyone hates one another. I don't think that was the message I got from the gospel of Christ. So you go sell crazy someplace else, I'm all stocked up here. Nutcase." (7/14/17)|
