Introduction

If you would like for us to consider adding your testimony of how God brought you out of Mormonism and to the real Christ, please "Contact" us.

If you are LDS and would like to remove your name from the LDS Church, see Utah Lighthouse Ministry or Mormon No More. It really is much easier than you think! You need not go through excommunication, attend a court, or be visited by anyone. It simply requires you to mail in a form letter with your information to your local bishop as well as the headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT.

If you would like to give your life to Christ and experience new life the way these others have, then simply trust Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Trust in Him by turning (repenting) from all your sins that separate you from His fellowship and peace, and by welcoming Him into your life to make you the kind of person He has always intended you to be. Give Him full control of every detail of your life. In exchange, He will amazingly count you as righteous or worthy right now if you call out to Him. He can do this, since as God, He has completely taken your debt or penalty on the cross. He loves you that much! He does not want to ruin your life; He wants to save you right now from hell and fulfill you in unimaginable ways. As the All Perfect Being, He wants to direct your life through all the good and bad. He is the only one that can be trusted with your life anyway. Why trust anyone other than Him? Everyone else, including yourself, will let you down. God by definition will never let you down... unless of course you persist against His will. But even then, God is not technically letting you down (He remains faithful); you are letting yourself down to hell.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

God's word says, "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). It also says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom. 5:1). "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (1 John 5:12). "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). And since He will save you now "according to His mercy" (Titus 3:5), you can be "confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).

There is a well known story told of Napoleon the First's time. In one of the conscriptions, during one of his many wars, a man was balloted as a conscript who did not want to go, but he had a friend who offered to go in his place. His friend joined the regiment in his name, and was sent off to the war. By and by a battle came on, in which he was killed, and they buried him on the battle field. Some time after the Emperor wanted more men, and by some mistake the first man was balloted a second time. They went to take him, but he remonstrated. 'You cannot take me.' 'Why not?' 'I am dead,' was the reply. 'You are not dead; you are alive and well.' 'But I am dead,' he said. 'Why, man, you must be mad! Where did you die?' 'At, such a battle, and you left me buried on such a battle field.' 'You talk like a madman,' they cried; but the man stuck to his point that he had been dead and buried some months. 'Look up your books,' he said, 'and see if it is not so.' They looked, and found that he was right. They found the man's name entered as drafted, sent to the war, and marked off as killed. 'Look here,' they said, 'you didn't die. You must have got some one to go for you. It must have been your substitute.' 'I know that,' he said; 'he died in my stead. You cannot touch me. I died in that man, and now I go free. The law has no claim against me.' They would not recognize the doctrine of substitution, and the case was carried to the emperor, who said that the man was right, that he was dead and buried in the eyes of the law, and that France had no claim against him.

The story may be true, or may not, but one thing I know to be true, that the Emperor of heaven recognizes the doctrine of substitution. Christ died for me; that is my hope of eternal life. 'There is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus' (D. L. Moody, Select Sermons [Chicago: The Bible Institute Colportage Association, n. d.], 38-9).

If you would like to commit your life to Christ and receive eternal life right now, the following is a suggested prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, please come into my life. Thank you for dying for all my sins and canceling my debt. I turn from all my sins (e.g., Mormonism) and I turn to you for a new life. I am sorry for living to exalt myself or anything else instead of you and your will for me. Please forgive me, and I will trust you alone to make me the kind of person you want me to be. I surrender my life into your keeping, so teach me to be a good disciple of you. Thank you for now saving me and making me your child. In your name I pray, amen.

R. M. Sivulka

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

"I stumbled on this site by Google-ing Hill Cumorrah.
I've heard of this ministry... and just thought of it as being another unenlightened Utah sect.
Now that I have read many things on here... you have removed all doubt of me just thinking you were unenlightened.
*laughing*
Seriously, I'm not being contentious... It's just my light hearted nature when I call out a spade for being a spade.

I'm NOT going to answer all your questions or comment on all your doubts...(I could but lack the time or inclination to do so; you wouldn't believe me anyways) but I will comment on the location of the Hill Cummorah.
The Hill Cummorah simply means.... THE HIGHEST HILL IN THE AREA in reformed Egyptian and Hebrew.
You've heard of the Golan Heights; the highest hills in Israel? Well in Hebrew its called Golan de Ramah. Cu-morrah ...Ramah... Linguistics isn't about the same spelling its about sounding the same or phonetically the same.
So....Armed with that new knowledge... A hill cummorah is the highest hill in the area.
Mount Everest would be the 'hill cummorrah' in the Himalayas.
In the alps..Mount Blanc would be the 'hill cummorrah'.
Ok...Those are mountainous regions but are just examples to illustrate and identify 'hill cumorrahs' of that region.
I live in the Texas Hill Country. The tallest hill in our area I would say is an unnamed hill near Garner State park. That would be the 'hill cummorah' of my area. Get it? Gooood.
Now in the Book of Mormon, Mormon gives Moroni an ABRIDGED copy of the gold plates. Moroni then leaves with the ABRIDGED edition. Mormon then buries the UNABRIDGED edition in HIS Hill Cummorrah. Obviously NOT the New York Hill Cummorrah...because 340,000 Nephites are slaughtered at MORMONS HILL CUMMORRAH and the stench of the dead would've driven Moroni away anyways.
So Moroni travels onward...eventually to New York and before he leaves this earth (Idumea) he buries the ABRIDGED COPY in HIS (New York) Hill Cumorrah.

Now...I'm no bishop, nor am I a church historian or in any leadership position. Nor was I raised in the LDS Church. I'm just an old man who sits in the back row whom knows by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the ministering of personal angels (under direction of our Lord Jesus Christ) that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints IS INDEED true. And MY FRIEND Joseph Smith is indeed a prophet of God. If it were not true...I would not say so.
Never-the-less that being said/written and despite our profound differences of faith, I am quickened by the Holy Spirit to extend to you my hand in friendship, and say unto you "Let us rejoice in the Christ Jesus" " (2/21/15)

"How do you know if Joseph Smith is a true prophet? Have you used the test of a prophet in Deuteronomy 18:22 KJV "When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." In History of The Church Vol 2. pg. 182, Joseph Smith claimed to know when Jesus was coming back saying "The coming of the Lord draweth nigh, even 56 years should wind up the scene." He made this prediction in 1835. Matthew 24:36 (KJV) "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Why would Joseph smith try and predict the coming of the Lord if Jesus told us only the Father knows?" (8/2/18)

"I am one of those sinful members of the LDS church. I have been for over 45 years. I admit to all of the heavens and earth that I am full of sin and in need of my redeemer. I welcomed him into my life and heart when I was about 11 years old, not LDS at the time. I learned to pray to God as a tiny child at my mother's knee. As the Savior taught, I pray to the Father, ie; "Our Father who art in Heaven". I believe in Father because he has answered my prayers in ways that leave no doubt nor room for doubt. He, (the Father) has burned into my heart through the witness of his holy spirit that Jesus is indeed the anointed one, the stem of Jesse, The Holy one of Israel. He is the only name by which I or anyone can be cleansed from sin and filth and have the opportunity to return to Father's presence. I seek no exaltation, I expect no reward, however I look forward to the time where I can bathe Jesus' feet with my tears of gratitude, as one of his children and one of those given to him by the Father. I believe in Christ, He is my King. I love him, I honor and praise him. He will come to reign on this earth in his rightful place. I look forward to that day!

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! All other doctrines, teachings, laws and prophesies hang on the two highest commandments: Love God with all our hearts, our souls, and minds; and love our neighbor as ourselves. NEED THERE BE MORE? I think not. No matter how much I can do, I will always fall short. His love, Atonement, death and resurrection make up the difference. I have learned to love my redeemer with my brothers and sisters of the LDS faith. I enjoy worshiping with them. I can eat the meat of the Chicken and throw out the bones. I know the difference." Pella, Iowa says... (Reply)
"You might know this, but, for those who see this, let's be clear what the two great commandments mean. It does not mean just to FEEL love or to SAY "I love you". It means to live ALL of God's commandments because we love Him. It means we serve our spiritual brothers and sisters by serving them and bringing them to Christ. We cannot say, "I love God and everyone around me" and then go look up porn and sin against our spouse, married or not. God does not change, and He is always right; therefore, if He says it is necessary to live a commandment, IT ABSOLUTELY IS CORRECT THAT IT IS NECESSARY. We cannot love God and then break a commandment, taking ourselves away from Him. Yes, we can repent, but we will ultimately be perfect because we will perfectly love God, meaning we will perfectly obey His perfect laws. And it is when we have this incredible love that we will always serve Him, never forsaking Him. Beware that you're hearts draw to God, not just your lips. Show your love by acting. As we pray to God for this love, we can be strengthened and become like Him. I know that selfless service is the one thing that will exalt us, just as it does the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. So "be ye therefore perfect" (Matthew 5:48)." (8/7/17)

"I am so happy knowing that I will never be perfect while here on earth. That is why Jesus had to die for us. He took our place. He was our substitute. We are covered by His blood that was shed on Calvary. I have full knowledge that through my belief that Jesus is the Son of God and died for my sins so that if I repent and believe in Him I will have eternal life. Don't you want to have the assurance of eternal life today. Jesus is that assurance. Don't be fooled into thinking you can keep all of the commandments. To break one is to break them all. Gain full assurance of eternal life today by giving your life to God in the flesh, Jesus Christ. " (2/9/22)

""YouConvincedme", you do realize you are violating one of the Ten Commandments, right? To present yourself as being a "baptist" when in reality your a mormon is the quintessential definition of bearing false witness (9th). My point being, as Galatians so eloquently demonstrates to us, the Law condemns you, no matter how hard you try. Please accept the gift of eternal life by accepting God's graceful gift. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Cor 5:21 Jesus paid for all sin for those who trust in his vicarious work. The only thing that is actually from this site or represents this site is information to help people and then a MORMOM guy starts the comments going off and then a man that clearly knows what he's talking about politely proves him wrong using bible facts . What you just said is non sense and sounds like youll fit right in over there! Lol but seriously the bottom line is it IS important whatchurch we go to and what doctrine we follow. And if your a true believer then that means you know the bible is true and there is plenty of clear proof in the bible backing up these statements. Also, disproving all of these man made doctrines . The bible even says there is only ONE book .. Not 2 , not 1 and a half.not one and a book of mormon .. ONE ... if you look into what mormons believe it is NOT biblical .. note the man above says all that stuff that sounds great till he says that God will come back and rule this earth. Mormons believe that there is going to be a day of reconing much like Christians do except they believe that Utah is the center of all of this and it will be the new like garden of Edan if I understood right.. they believe they get their own PLANET that they become like a god to if they marry enuff woman and have enuff children and they believe there are diff levels of heaven like a gold league silver league and bronze and depending on how good you are decides what league you go to lol now I may not have it all perfect but I have picked quite a few mormons brains for this info and it doesn't take a genious to figure out that a MAN is behind these things. The truth is the answer is in the bible.. to everything .. you can find a reference that proves or disproves pretty much anything . And I can tell you 100% for sure that being Mormon is not Gods will and is not biblical. I pray God shows this to you in a way that you receive it because even with flat out biblical facts disproving it your not listening . I pray to God that you will know the truth. "Though you're intentions might be what you think are good, I worry for those who have seen some of this information. I could write a whole book for a rebuttal to the things of the church I attend. But let me just get some things clear, for those that are true Christians. You might call me a Mormon, yes - but that could be misinterpreted. We do not worship Mormon, nor do we Joseph Smith, or anything except what we claim - we belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Not the Church of Joseph or the Church of Saint Peter - but Christ's own church. Take these things seriously - for all Christians, I want you to know that we are not separate. To be a Christian means to believe in Christ and His Atonement, and also to live like Him so that we have eternal life - not just everlasting life, but life like God's very life. For God would be cruel to glorify in Himself and restrict us to a fallen state of man forever - in fact, the reason He is so great is because he enables us to be like Him. We are intended to be like Him, even though we will never replace Him. We will always need Him, but we need Him because we need to be like Him. Christ's grace - enabling power - did not save us. Rather, it does when we open up the door to let Him in our lives. We need to change through Him, but that is our choice. We can't just go church every week and be saved - we can't just believe that Jesus lives and be saved - we can't give Him full control over our lives, weather or not that saves us. The Atonement doesn't just save us, but it redeems us. It makes us become better - like Him. But we have agency - the ability to choose. His atonement did not save the murderer (if the murderer knew of the sin). We can't pray to God and then sin against Him. Yes, the Atonement is infinite, meaning that we can repent, but those that do not repent have reason to be troubled. The murderer, the adulterer, etc. CAN BE SAVED - but ONLY if they USE the Atonement. To repent isn't to simply feel bad even - it is to change. Though we are not perfect, we can repent though Christ's enabling power to become perfected in Him. When you pray, do not pray just the same prayer again and what even a good Christian wrote down. Pray earnestly, with your own thoughts, praising God and asking for His help, with the intention to act upon inspiration you receive through the Holy Ghost. Think of it this way - Jesus said: "Many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 24:14), closing His parable of the wedding feast of a king's son. Notice that there is one man that is cast out, as he did not have wedding garments like the others. Too many people are like him - Christ invites us to be with Him, but that only helps if we accept His gift of grace. This man came, yes, as we might attend church - but he did not accept Christ's gift. Remember that Heaven would not be Heaven for those who are Heavenly. Yes, Christ is absolutely necessary, and I am grateful that God is my loving Heavenly Father, and that I can have the companionship of the Holy Ghost - but I will only be with them when I am perfected in them - that is MY choice. May we all choose to be like our Heavenly Father and follow the teachings of Christ, always listening to the Holy Ghost's voice, that we might be perfect, and eternally with them and our families. I know that Christ's Atonement can help us be like Him, and that we can apply it to help all wounds. I bear testimony that God will never forsake us as long as we abide by His precepts and learn to love Him in return for the infinite love He has for each of us. And this I bear witness of in the name of Jesus Christ, amen." (8/7/17)

It's not your fault if you were misguided .. but if you are told these truths and still do not turn away from these things then that is on you.. but as you know . If you know the bible it is our duty as Christians to tell one another when we are going astray like Jesus the shepard .. and if you are a Mormon my dear beautiful lamb you are lost. Be lost no more. Not one of us needs to "argue" the truths of God. If we want the truth, we merely need to ask HIM. Pray with sincerity and with all your heart, mind and soul for the truth to be revealed to you via the Holy Spirit. You need never again, have to try and discern the truth from the words of imperfect, mortal human beings. You can rely solely on the burning in your own chest (which is the light of Christ testifying to you) as the truth is revealed. Jesus loves each and every one of us. HE is the truth, the way and the light.
May his blessings be upon us all. " (8/17/21)

"That's the whole point my friend. Have you ever had "that feeling" that something was not right? Even "bad"? Not a thought, but a physical feeling? On the opposite side of the spectrum, have you ever felt that "choked up" feeling when you saw or heard something good? That "choked up" sensation is similar to the burning feeling I spoke of. Think back on when you have experienced either of these feelings and you will clearly see the correlation between good and evil. It's a wonderful thing that each of us can rely solely on God to give us the answers to our questions instead of having to rely on the conclusions of mortal beings." (8/18/21)

"Dave,

Our emails were not supposed to be posted on the sight. I guess I should have not assumed that they would not be given out as well.

I hope that my comments are coming across as sincere and helpful. They were not made to incite an argument. I was merely inviting people to pray for their own answers. I want to thank you though, if your thoughts, intentions and efforts are indeed sincere, for taking the time and making the effort to “save” one of Gods’ lost lambs in your sharing the links to the videos.

Again, however, that was the entire point of my comment. We need not go to mortal beings for our answers.

There is not a comment, presentation, message, argument etc. by way of a talk, sermon, video, even someones' personal testimony, that will give us the truth we seek over the testament of the Holy Spirit. That is ours for the taking. A gift from God himself as an aid for his lost sheep to find their way back to Him.

He loves each and every one of his children and gave each and every one of us the power to discern for ourselves by way of direct communication with him.
May God bless you on the path you are on. " (10/20/21)

I too, am a sincere truth seeker. To me, nothing is more important.

However, I still don’t understand why you think that it is the Holy Spirit that is giving people these emotions. The video shows that many people think they have received some emotional verification from God. This leads them to the belief that their religion is the one true way. However, what the video is showing, is that these experiences can not be counted on, since God would be telling people that religions with conflicting truth claims are all true. " (10/20/21)

"Dave and Rob Sivulka,
I watched the video and my thought is this.
I'm curious why you both would offer up the video as it is a video of people testifying of the truth they feel they have gained via (chronologically), information, a friends experience, explosion of energy, someone else's belief, a choice, voice in their head, reading, the feeling they get when around people, studying, their own knowledge, their parents' prayer, a teachers belief, self prayer, feeling light in their heart, feeling an impression in their soul, a warm feeling, confirming feeling, a burning in the soul, self knowledge in the heart, a feeling of peace, a confirmation in the heart, a (knowing) before reading, by "recognition" of what was self known.

What did each of you think the video was intended to reveal to me?" (10/20/21)

"As Dallas Willard famously said, "The infallibility of the messenger and the message does not guarantee the infallibility of our reception. Humility is always in order." Your confidence can always be wrong, for there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is the way of death (Prov. 14:12). This is why the Lord gave us something outside our subjective experience which is a "more sure word of prophecy" (2 Pt. 1:19). Your experience is no substitute for what the Bible has said." "I’m a Mormon.

And, Yes, Mormons are Christians.

I believe the Mormon Church, i.e., the LDS Church, is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on earth.

And I can prove that using the Bible.

And the current Church leader are sons of perdition.

This is prophesied and can be shown in the Scriptures/Bible would happen until the son of perdition is removed as spoken by the apostle, Paul, by the Spirit of God in 2 Thessalonian chapter 2.

The son of perdition Paul speaks of is the current Mormon prophet.

Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a Church member who has all the rites of the priesthood of God and uses the priesthood against God, as did Judas.

Mormons do believe there are other gods before the God of Israel.

But this is a false doctrine within the LDS Church taught by its Church leaders.

There is no Mormon Scripture that supports this false doctrine and many other false doctrines fostered by Church leaders permeate within the Church.

God, the Father, was not once a man who lived on another world and became God through exaltation.

No Mormon Scripture supports this false doctrine.

It is a doctrine of man.

It is a Biblical doctrine and a true doctrine that God has a body of flesh and bones.

Jesus told his disciples after He resurrected to behold his hands and feet, that is it He himself and was not a spirit for spirit has not flesh and bones, as ye see Me have. (John 17:21)" (3/11/22)

2) What evidence is there to prove Joseph Smith was real and or REALLY SAW god without him saying he saw him?
3) Why are you reading the Book of Mormons instead of the bible when the bible is the only way to Jesus and Jesus is the only way to god?
4) Why should you have to pray on a book that god will show you the truth? If god wants us to know the truth he will show us himself." (5/23/22)

"I’m a Mormon.

We should believe the Scriptures, not man.

And the Scriptures testify the Mormon Church is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on earth.

But if something is taught that can't be verified by Scripture, think twice about believing it.

I understand why so many people are leaving the church.

Many false doctrines exist causing countless YouTube videos mocking Mormonism.

False doctrines like grandpa gods, Mormons becoming gods of their own planets, Adam helped create the earth, Christ and Satan are brothers God the Father has rarely spoken in Scripture, all of which no Scripture verifies.

And many are leaving the church because if you don't fit the mold the church leaders sculpture you're not a part of the click.

Mormons believe the church leaders over Scripture.

The zealous believers have the church leaders in mind with everything thing they think say and feel testifying to impress others how much they believe the current church leaders are God-inspired.

But the Scriptures reveal the church leaders are the problem with the entire planet.

For example,

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we are informed of a person revealed as the son of perdition.

This son of perdition sits in the temple of God making himself God or above all that is called God.

Therefore, if the Mormon Church is the only true church, and I believe it is and will back that belief using the Scriptures, then the only person 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 could be talking about is the current Mormon prophet.

For what other church is the one and only true church with temples?

And Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a church member holding all the rites of God's priesthood and using the priesthood against God as did Judas.

Therefore, who else other than the current Mormon prophet could the apostle Paul be speaking of?

It's as plain as the nose on a face.

And even God in the Doctrine and Covenants tells us about the current church leaders and how displeased He is saying the end of this world will begin among them. (D&C 112:23-26)

Joseph Smith taught the false doctrine of grandpa gods not over the pulpit as a prophet but as a sermon at a funeral, which should not be taken as Scripture fulfilling God’s sayings to Paul, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

And the current Mormon prophet is the son of perdition because he has all the saints believing God our Heavenly Father was created by a being greater than Himself but Scripture says there is no greater than our God. (Hebrews 6:13)

Therefore, the son of perdition has all the saints breaking the first commandment God gave Moses,

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Does it make sense to reasonable thinking that God would command we have no other gods before Him but really there are?

Does He not want us to know this?

Why is it a secret?

There’s a reason He commanded to have no other gods before Him.

Because by believing in false grandpa gods the saints believe our God is an infinitely lesser God putting Lucifer before God.

And the moment we put a god before our God, our God becomes an infinitely lesser God.

Not only that, our God also becomes a liar.

He and the Scriptures says He is the greatest of all.

He and the Scriptures says He is the Most High God.

He and the Scriptures say He created all things.

And in the Scriptures He says over and over there are no gods beside Him. (Isaiah 44:6) (Isaiah 44:8) (Isaiah 45:22) (Hebrews 6:13)

Therefore, the saints believing there are gods before Him is the saints believing the son of perdition or the current Mormon prophet over the Scriptures and calling God and the Scriptures a lie.

And Isaiah warns,

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

The saints call" (8/24/22)

"I am a Latter-day Saint. My comment concerns burning sensations after praying about the Book of Mormon. It is most accurate to say that a burning or good feeling is a signal from God to keep learning and begin acting in faith, not necessarily a signal to step into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A burning feeling, especially accompanied with love, peace, joy, or holiness, is a signal that the seed planted in your heart is good (we compare God's word to a seed) and more should be done to produce fruit, proof, or testiimony (Alma 32:30). Latter-day Saints ultimately measure the truth of all things by their fruits, not by transitory feelings. (Alma 32: 26-43 and 1 Nephi: 8)

A lesser known teaching in my faith is that the adversary, or Satan, deliberately imitates everything about God to deceive. I don't believe the adversary is capable of producing peace, true joy, or pure Christ-like love. Those things are out of his league to imitate and if he tried it, it would be detectable. A mere burning feeling should never be relied upon alone as a reason to make a significant decision.

Another doctrine is that God speaks to each person individually in a way that is unique to them. Because it is common, a burning feeling is often spoken of. However, God does not give personal revelation to everyone in the same way. Alma may not have been fully aware of that reality when he wrote Alma 32 (reference in my second paragraph in this post).

The challenge to pray and seek an answer about the Book of Mormon is contained in it's final chapter (Moroni 10:4). It does not specify that God will give you a burning feeling. It says that He will, "manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost." Real intent and faith in Christ are also listed as desirable in requesting a response.
